So much culture and history is crammed into this city that you cannot miss an opportunity to visit. The famous Boston Tea Party and Boston Massacre occurred during the city’s toughest times, but Boston rose up from the ashes and became the great city we know today. The New England cuisine is delicious and satisfying. The thick Boston accent has been mimicked and teased throughout Hollywood for years, thanks to Boston bred actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

1. Go to Red Sox game

If you are in Boston during baseball season then you need to go to a Red Sox game. It is not enough to watch the game on tv, you should be sitting in the Green Monster section at Fenway Park.

Faneuil Hall has been functioning as a marketplace since the mid 18th century. Today you can find food stands and shops along the length of the marketplace.

3. Go on a jog along the Charles River

You gotta love that dirty water as Rock band, The Standells, once sang. While the Charles River is not the cleanest water to swim in, you can join the hundreds of joggers that pass by this river each day.

4. Book a Boston Duck tour
